I am going to do it, I am going to create something that I can call my own. It shall be a grand undertaking but I will get this done. I will create my very own world. It will be for a game of course but I shall build every last detail within it. Not in a computer world but one in words. Every rock every speck of dust shall have a place in it. I will go all in on this creation leaving nothing out.
It will be a world full of magic and wonder. Of good and evil it will be a story that I can share with any that is willing to read.
It is not good at all when your mood gos from a happy one to a sad one with out any real reason. From having fund to wanting to die without any notice or real cause.
Yes I am sad that I have yet to get one donation for my indiegogo even if it is just day one. But that is not what set me off. I do not even know what set me off I just had my feeling hurt and took it too hard. Over a game, relay. Am I this messed up that I got upset by not being able to play the way I wanted. Yes and it sucks! I want a normal life I want to live I want to enjoy things and not get depressed when someone does something so minute. Odd thing I am done with the game I just left it. It is not an only game or a video game but one played in the mind called Dungeons and Dragons.
I got upset over not being able to play “smart” I am not one to “meta” but I felt that my character was going to be different to try and play something to try and be part of a world that is full of magic and wonder. And than told nope that is not common your character would not know it by the DM hurt. It is a world of magic and wonder, a world where the player is playing someone that is not typical.
A bit of a rant yes but you know what if I can not get that thing funded I shall need to find a way to live and to express myself. And to the few that read this if any as all I get is likes and subs but no comments would be nice to hear something even an insult.
Much time had passed Vestra’s mind had age but her body was still low to catch up. Ten years went by and Vestra only looked as if she was sixteen. Her mother and instructors at Aneyvaugrra where unaware of what she truly was as she was the first of her kind in this realm. As she studied and learned they in turn studied but could not quit learn much about her, she was truly a mystery.
She spoke to many of her teachers in the Divine Tongue only taught to the purist of hearts yet for Vestra it can naturally. During one of her nightly sessions all light within the room vanished. Vestra spoke a word and light as bright as day shined from some miraculous light from the center of the room. The teacher new this magic all to well and informed Alalorra.
The next day Alalorra went to Vestra “There is something about you I can not understand, yet I can see you are pure.” Vestra looked into Alalorra’s eyes “I am the daughter of an angel. My father came to me in a dream last night.” “For some reason I believe you but to say that in front of another could cost you your life. I think it is time I take you to join my group. We can show you the path to pure light.” Alalorra said. “I would like that, I think it is my calling.” Vestra replied.
That evening Alalorra approached Reiealya yet before she could speak “He came to me once more last night my husband was here. I know what you are going to ask. It is hard to send a child away but I know it is the thing to do.” Reiealya said. “You are truly blessed I believe your husband sacrifice in life earned the respect of our Lady Iomedae.”Alalorra said with a nod. With a smile Reiealya replied “As do I.” Alalorra took Vestra once more this time to be taught the ways of a holly warrior to become Paladin of the Gray Watch.
As she arrived in the heart of Mesimaya the home for a Paladin of the Gray Watch, Vestra seen her future before her and it was not an easy one. She would train and learn the ways of the Paladin’s and show the world the Path of Light.
Another ten years passed and over the age of thirty only looked as if she was eighteen took it as time to leave and see the world. She had the knowledge of the Paladin’s and seen it best to return to her mother and say one final goodby before she sought out the life she was destined for.
Twelve years have passed The priest that witnessed the birth of Vestra had took it upon himself to aid the child and her mother. He shared his knowledge of the gods and their impact on the day to day world. Vestra took the priest lessons to heart, she would not allow those who bullied her to put her down. She seen them as ignorant and afraid of her for reasons that she did not understand yet she did not allow them to change her.
Soon it became apparent that Vestra’s body was not aging like other children. At the age of fifteen she still only looked to be ten. It became apartment to the others in the village and they did not take it any better than her birth. Some even threatened to harm her as others wished she would just leave the town. On a faithful night priest Harmarsh decided it would be a good ideal if Vestra and her mother to stay at the church. It was a choice that saved both their lives as someone took it upon themselves to burn Vestra’s home down. Reiealya took this as a sign to move. Harmarsh sent word to an old friend and within a week a tall beautiful women came to the small town. She was dressed in bright shining armor and road in on large steed.
As she strolled into the center of town and dismounted her hours many of the towns people gathered to see what was going on. Xeik managed to get a glance at the women and he new exactly who she was as he seen her on the front lines during Dawning of Nester, the very battle that Vestra’s father died in.
“Is this the child Harmarsh?” the women asked the priest. “Yes, this is she. Her and her mother shall be ready to depart by the morrow.” the priest replied. “Good I shall take in the sights of this little village before than.” she said “Ha, not much to see here Alalorra but go have your fill.”
The night went on and Alalorra soon seen what Harmarsh said. She soon returned to the church and met with Reiealya and Vestra. As Alalorra entered the room Vestra stood up and eyed her and spoke in a language that both Reiealya and Harmarsh never heard her speak. “A pleasure to meet you my lady” Vestra said with a bow. In return Alalorra replied in the same tongue “A pleasure indeed” Looking at Harmarsh “You did not inform me in your letter the child new the Divine Tongue” “Well that is becomes I did not even know until just now” Harmarsh replied.
Night past and the sun soon began to shine Vestra and her mother where all packed and ready to go. As the walked out to the carriage that was prepared Vestra looked up a Alalorra “Where are we going exactly?” “Well young one we I am escorting you to Aneyvaugrra” Reiealya looked at Alalorra and asked her “Are you a Paladin of the Gray Watch?” A grin appeared on Alalorra’s face “That I am.”
I am a member of http://www.myth-weavers.com/ and with that I am coming up with stories for characters. Also I like to come up with odd looking names that even I can not say. I use http://www.oddcast.com/home/demos/tts/tts_example.php to say it for me. I tend to put random things and find one that sounds good.
Born in the small town Eisenbrooke Vestra was ridiculed from a young age, children mocked her, adults avoided her all do to circumstances of her birth. On the cusp of a new age as all the men of Eisenbrooke had been away for nearly a year as Reiealya, Vestra’s mother had become pregnant. The women of Eisenbrooke seen this as a sign of evil for without a father the child was an omen of doom for the small town. This did not bother Reiealya as she just cast it off as superstition and she truly believed her husband had returned to her one night.
Vestra birth was normal and no conditions marked it as an ominous event yet the child was different, the eyes of the Vestra glowed bright green. The priest attending the birth seen this as a sign of purity and virtue but the others of the town did not.
A month or so after the birth of Vestra the men had returned from a distant war. Reiealya was thrilled “Soon my little Vestra you shall see you father.” she said in a soft loving voice as she hummed a lullaby as the men approached the town. As they came closer she soon seen the look of deviation in their eyes. Many of the soldiers where wounded and some where not even there. Reiealya walked over baby Vestra in hand “Torkieanirl, husband!” she called out. No one could look her in the eyes as the passed her their gaze went to the ground. “Torkieanirl!” Reiealya became frantic as she seen one of her husbands close friends. “Xeik where is my husband” Xeik’s eyes full of tears met hers. “I..” he hesitated “He did not make it, I’m sorry.” “This can not be true, he has a one moth old child. Torkieanirl!” she screamed. Xeik still saddened “Child, but how?” “He came to me last summer during the night during Highmash” Xeik’s eyes widened “Let us get you home.” Xeik escorted Reiealya back to her house sat her down. “Reiealya” he started slowly. “He was gone by than, it could not have been him.” “You lie! He was here that night, if not than how could I have.” she than held up Vestra her bright green eyes glowed as she looked up at Xeik. He was befuddled as he looked in her eyes “I, I see him he is.” he shook his head. “That can not be true he was dead by than. He saved me and many others but he died I seen it.” Xeik stood up “I do not know who’s child that is but it is not Torkieanirl’s.”
With no father no one believing Reiealya’s story about her husbands return Vestra was seen as a demon by all but one of the town people.
